2022.01.19 22:49 DirtGuy90 Is $10.40 a good entry point
I know we don’t have Chrystal balls but I’m trying to decide if this is a good point to enter or if anyone thinks we may see lower lows heading into the future.
I’ve noticed multiple people mention the unlock of 8% on 2/20, what’s your honest opinion, to be safe I’ll just dollar cost average as much as possible.
I usually hate these posts but I’m just looking for someone who’s heavily involved in this project who has a a few years in the space.
Also in layman’s terms, is anyone kind enough to explain what moonbeam actually does, assume you’re explaining this to a chipmunk. Thank you in advance!

2022.01.19 22:49 Fringo_GG How does one get a rig job
How do people land oil rig jobs. I’ve always wanted to work somewhere unique and kind of remote while I’m young and figures than rigs that criteria.
How exactly would I land a job on one? Also other than oil rigs are there any other locations/work environments which are as equally remote, interesting and exciting.

2022.01.19 22:49 jasonpcrowley Strange RF Interference with 2.4 GHz WiFi
TL;DR: I'm trying to figure out what device is interfering with WiFi 2.4 GHz channel one over a one-mile x 1000-ft area. The device doesn't appear to be a WiFi device, and I'm having trouble locating it.
The long story: I manage a building with 49 wireless access points. They all use 5 GHz, and every other one has a 2.4 GHz radio turned on. So I have 25 radios in the 2.4 GHz spectrum, and of those, 7 are using channel 1 (2401-2423 MHz). We are experiencing high retry rates for the channel-1 APs, so today I set out to figure out why. Using an RF Explorer spectrum analyzer, I found a notch at 2412.836MHz, right in the middle of channel 1. You can see that in the picture above. The average signal strength at this frequency is 30dB above the noise floor. That appears to be the cause of our interference. Now I just need to find the source.
Naturally I set out to find the source. Wandering around the building, the signal at 2412.836 MHz didn't fluctuate very much (+/-3 dB). Since the signal seemed to be level throughout the building, I started driving around in my car to see where the source might be outside the building.
I found that when I went east or west of the building by a city block (about 0.1 miles), the signal level would drop 5 dB. Going another block away from the building would cause a drop of another 5-8 dB, the third block would drop the signal by about 10dB more. The problem must be close to our building, right? That doesn't seem to be the case.
Next I tried the north-south routes. In that case, the signal stayed at -53 to -55 dBm. There's a 9-story apartment building that blocks the road our building is on for a block. When I went around to the other side of that apartment building (to the north side), the signal dropped something like 20 dB. That leads me to believe the source of the signal is south of the apartment building.
Driving south from the apartment building, the road I'm on goes about a mile before it runs into a manufacturing plant. The signal stayed right in that -53dBm to -55dBm range all the way up to the first building in the plant. Then as I pulled up to that building the signal dropped about 8 dB.
I know that's a lot of information, and I hope it makes sense. Here is my question: do any of you have any ideas of what device could be interfering on a very-specific frequency?
The band is less than 1 MHz wide. That rules out most wireless networking devices. The smallest band I know of in the wireless networking space is 5 MHz. Bluetooth channels are 1 MHz wide, but they shouldn't be strong enough to be at a steady strength across a mile.
Thanks in advance for your help!

2022.01.19 22:49 NoAcanthisitta9754 Huawei Dropping 2-MWh Energy Storage System in Japan
From March 2022, China telecom giant Huawei will sell large battery systems for renewable energy storage in Japan, supply from battery makers including CATL, earlier reports said. This will be a big step for Huawei to develop the energy storage business in Japan.
Huawei invests in Japanese energy storage as Japan transits from fossil fuels to renewable energy.
According to an earlier report by Nikkei Asia, the large-scale battery systems for renewable energy storage that Huawei will sell in Japan this time are mainly sourced from multiple battery manufacturers, including the biggest battery company in china, CATL.
Huawei will combine small battery packs into container-sized units for Japanese customers. The capacity can be adjusted according to the actual application needs. Still, the specific battery cell used is unable to disclose at present.

You know I dread the day im dry of orbs. Like anytime I need soul tickets I dont even have to worry I just run a quick story and GG 25 Soul tickets. Oh i need to summon? Get 3 or 4 6* to level 150 and summon. I complain about being"too wet with orbs" but thats only because grinding story is tedious. I pray for all the people who have milked all the orbs they could out of the game.

2022.01.19 22:49 starlytical Other than a certain doof and platypus fooling around, why might a rollercoaster randomly disappear?
So my sister needs to make a puppet show for her drama class. She decided to recreate the first episode of Phineas and Ferb, Rollercoaster. But, the puppet show is supposed to be only 3-5 minutes long so we decided to cut out the Doofenshmirtz and Perry the platypus bits. But, when the rollercoaster disappears, we have no explanation for that since Perry and Doofenshmirtz aren't there. Anyone got any ideas to why a rollercoaster might randomly disappear?
